Message of Condolence to the Government and People of Nepal
尊敬的尼泊尔政府、尼泊尔人民：
Dear Government and People of Nepal,
惊悉贵国北部地区于2026年8月26日突发严重山洪灾害，造成重大人员伤亡，截至目前已致逾百人遇难、数百人失踪，大量财产毁于一旦。噩耗传来，我们深感悲痛。谨此向贵国政府和人民致以最深切的哀悼和最诚挚的慰问。
We were deeply saddened to learn of the devastating flash floods that struck the northern region of your country on August 26, 2026, causing heavy casualties, with over one hundred lives lost, hundreds of people reported missing, and widespread destruction of property. On this solemn occasion, we wish to convey our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Government and people of Nepal.
贵国政府迅速启动紧急救援，军队及各方力量全力投入搜救和灾后安置，我们对此表示高度赞赏。
We highly commend the Government of Nepal for its swift activation of emergency response mechanisms, and the Nepalese army and all response forces for their full-scale commitment to search and rescue operations as well as post-disaster relief efforts.
亚太贸易协定工商会作为经联合国亚洲及太平洋经济社会委员会（亚太经社会）批准、由亚太贸易协定部长理事会部长级宣言宣布成立的多边国际组织，始终与尼泊尔保持着密切合作。在此艰难时刻，我们坚定与贵国站在一起，愿根据实际需要，积极协调成员资源，为灾后救援与重建提供力所能及的支持。
The Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement Chamber of Commerce and Industry (APTACCI), as a multilateral international organization approved by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and established by the Ministerial Declaration of the Ministerial Council of the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement， has always maintained close cooperative relations with Nepal. At this difficult hour, we stand firmly with your country and stand ready to coordinate resources among our members to provide all possible support for relief and reconstruction efforts, in accordance with actual needs.
灾害无情，人间有爱。我们坚信，在贵国政府坚强领导下，英勇的尼泊尔人民定能早日战胜灾害，重建家园。
Disasters are merciless, but humanity is compassionate. We firmly believe that under the strong leadership of your Government, the resilient and courageous people of Nepal will overcome this calamity and rebuild their homeland at an early date.
向遇难者表示沉痛哀悼，向救援人员致以崇高敬意。
We mourn the loss of those who perished in this tragedy and pay our highest tribute to all emergency responders working tirelessly on the front lines.
